Surrey RCMP investigating motor vehicle collision with life-threatening injuries

Surrey RCMP is advising the public of road closures following a serious motor vehicle collision at 184 Street and 32 Avenue.

On October 27, 2024, at approximately 3:41 pm, Surrey RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 32 Avenue and 184 Street involving two vehicles. The driver of the Nissan has been transported to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) is currently on scene and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called out. The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are working to identify all factors that led to this collision.

Currently, the intersection of 184 Street and 32 Avenue is closed in all directions. Traffic in the surrounding areas has been impacted and drivers can expect significant delays. The closure will remain in effect for an undetermined amount of time while investigators process the scene.
